DHC Hosts Golf Tournament with Daegu Red Cross to Aid Families in Need


Daegu Health College (DHC / President Dr. Nam, Sung-hee) hosted [DHC President’s Cup Golf Tournament with Daegu Red Cross to Help Families in Need] at Gyeongsan CC, Interburgo on the 16th.


Hosted by DHC Alumni Association, the university staff bonded together for their alma mater while helping the neighbors.  220 people grouped into 55 teams, including president Nam, faculty members, alumni association president Kang, Byung-gyun, Daegu Red Cross president Song, Jun-gi, and the members as well as the presidents from each iteration of DHC Wellness Culture Executive Course took part in this successful event.  Participants donated funds to help families in need.  President Nam and president Kang delivered 4,480,000KRW to President Song in the evening.

President Nam said “it was a meaningful time to get together with alumni members to improve DHC while helping the ones in need.  It’s time for us to advance our college and help the neighbors just as we walked this beautiful course together as partners.”


Daegu Red Cross president Song said “there are about 2.67 million people in the community who feel left out from the society seeking our help.  I am glad that we can help them through contributions everyone has made today.  Just a small interest and participation can make our world significantly happier.”
