Daegu Health College (DHC / President Dr. Nam, Sung-hee) and 3D Bio CADAsia (CEO Jung, Hee-jin) recently (2 OCT) had dental equipment donation ceremony at president’s office on the 10th floor of the college main building. Around 10 VIPs including CEO Cho, Kyu-dong, CEO Jung, Hee-jin, vice president Charlie Park, research director Jung, Hoon, president Nam, Sung-hee, vice president Jang, Sang-moon, international cooperation director Kim, Gyeong-yong, dean of dental technology Park, Gwang-sik, and professor Choi, Byung-hwan of dental technology attended the ceremony.
DHC received 60million won worth 3D scanner (2 sets / model: 3Shape D800) and a copy of CAD software (model: 3Shape Complete Restorative) worth 60million won, totaling 70million Korean Won.
CEO Cho, Kyu-dong was the decision maker behind the donation. CEO Cho runs a dental technology & digital equipment company ‘B&B Dental Ceramic Arts’ in Seattle, U.S.A., and supports Korean students each year by hiring 2 to 3 Korean students from DHC.
In order to rise as a global corporation based on technology and trust from his clients, CEO Cho found 3D BioCAD in 2015 as a logistics and sales company. He has branches in Canada, Taiwan, and Korea – 3D BioCAD Asia oversees sales in Korea and Taiwan. CEO Cho’s donation reflects his wishes to help dental technology students practice and improve their skills.
Dean of dental technology department, Professor Park, Gwang-sik said with his sincere appreciation to the donator “these equipment are key to the digital technology in the dental industry. I am confident they will be of huge asset for our students.”
